His exposure has helped him understand that many problems within organizations are created by people who have been trained technically, but have received little or no leadership, team, or people skills training. After working with over sixty five thousand attendees he began to realize that while most people are competent doers, they are being promoted into leadership positions equipped with a doer mentality, but little or no real business or management training. This is equally destructive for the former superstar doer and the staff they now manage. Coupled with his previous experience as a professional athlete, Ryan’s insights have transformed audience perspectives and polished their skills.
